The Porsche 996 was already a purist's darling — the last 911 with true analog steering feel before electric assist took over the lineup. We tore out the factory flat-six and dropped in a turbocharged Honda K24, a 2.4-liter inline-four built to take serious boost without ever cracking the block open for forged internals. The result is more horsepower, torque and reliability running through a chassis that was never meant to hear a four-cylinder scream out the back of it. Impossible on paper.
